The Code of Ethics for Researchers.

Researchers must acknowledge their particularresponsibility. The maintenance of elevated ethical standards is imperative for safeguarding the internal coherence of science, as well as its credibility and social authority. Consequently, the Committee on Ethics in Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences has developed the Code of Ethics for Researchers. This document is concerned with the values and principles that define the ethical conduct of scientific research, as well as the optimal practices to be employed in the pursuit of scientific knowledge. Additionally, it addresses the issue of research misconduct. A particular emphasis is placed on the cultivation of nascent researchers and students, in addition to fostering engagement with the broader community.
