APPLICATION PHASE
„HR Excellence in Research” is awarded to Institutions, which have implemented “The European Charter for Researchers” and “The Code of Conduct for Recruitment of Researchers”. The HR logo is a quality mark confirming that the University conducts a transparent process of recruiting researchers, creates friendly working environment and supports the development of scientific careers.
“The European Charter for Researchers” describes the rights and obligations of researchers, their employing institutions and research funding organizations. They concern working conditions, research career development, mobility, and mentoring of the early-stage researchers.
“The Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers” includes the rules for the recruitment of researchers, which should be followed to ensure equal treatment for all researchers in Europe. This principle assumes publishing transparent information about competition procedures, ensuring the possibility of professional development at all stages of the scientific career, and implements the non-discrimination policy (against sex, age, origin, and language).
