On 2nd of October 2024, Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology officially inaugurated the new academic year. For the first time in the history of the university, first-year medical students at the Faculty of Medicine are among those starting their education.

Over 2,000 new students will begin their studies at Bydgoszcz University Science of Technology in the academic year 2024/2025. Among them are 60 medical students. During the inaugural ceremony, the University Flag was handed to the Faculty of Medicine.
The inauguration of the new academic year was also an opportunity to present awards and distinctions to the best students and graduates. State decorations were presented to university employees.
